Wild Country Trident 2 Tent

$749.99
The Wild Country Trident 2 is a tough, semi-geodesic two-person tent built for year-round Kiwi adventures, from the exposed tops of the Ruahines to the damp valleys of Fiordland. Designed for stability and strength in unpredictable weather, this tent is a reliable choice for trampers and backcountry explorers needing dependable shelter across 3–4 seasons.
Its semi-geodesic pole structure provides excellent wind resistance, making it well-suited for more rugged terrain and alpine environments. The flysheet-first pitching method is ideal for New Zealand’s wet conditions, allowing the inner tent to stay dry during setup and pack-down in the rain.
With its durable materials, compact footprint, and ample living space for two, the Trident 2 balances strength and comfort for long missions into the wild. Whether you’re heading off-grid for a week or braving an exposed ridgeline camp, the Trident 2 has your back in Aotearoa’s unpredictable conditions.

Pitching Instructions
The Trident 2 is a flysheet-first, semi-geodesic tent for 3-4 season camping. Read the Trident 2 tent pitching instructions below:
Unpack the tent and lay out the flysheet and inner. (Note: The inner tent is already attached to the inside of the flysheet).
Carefully assemble the three alloy poles ensuring that all joints are fully connected.
Match the pole color to the pole sleeve trim and insert each pole (A to B, C to D and E to F)
Insert the pole tip at points B and D into the outermost eyelet and with gentle pressure push from point A and then C and insert the pole tip into the outermost eyelet. Now create the arch with the cross pole E to F by inserting the pole tips into the outermost eyelet.
You can now adjust the pole tip of each pole into the most appropriate eyelet to create the correct flysheet tension. (Never force the poles)
Peg out in the following order:-
a) Both ends of the flysheet.
b) The remaining flysheet elastics plus guy lines.
